Day 11

It's my Day 11 and I'm feeling good. No dizziness or even withdrawa. My energy today is fired up and I slept like a baby.

My stomach is getting flatter. Still it's bloated but the results are now much better than before. I was watching Victoria Secret Angel Fashion and so inspired again. I envy those bikini bods.

14 Pounds in 14 Days

I weighed yesterday and I'm so happy with the result. Before I started the juicing, I weighed 145 lbs. Day 7 of juicing + eating, it's down to 143 lbs. So I lost 2 lbs. Wohoo! it's working.

Now, I'd like to embark myself to a something very challenging. I'm not sure if it's possible. I still have 14 lbs to shred to reach my 129 lbs goal. The challenge is called 14 Pounds in 14 Days. Starting today up to June 9 (that's 14 days), I am hoping to shred all 14 lbs left. It's definitely challenging and exciting for me at the same time. Wish me luck :)


Working out with Jillian Michaels

To obtain great results from my juice fast. I just started to workout. Thanks, I have my friend who recommend videos of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. She gave copies and save them in my lappy.

According to the video description, Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Level 1 will burn fat with this interval training fitness system, combining strength, cardio, and abs workouts that blast calories to get you shredded and ripped.


It's good right? I'm not a morning person that's why I prefer to do it at night. And I don't like to go out to jog or go to the gym to workout. These videos are so perfect for me. It suits my needs and my personality :)

To enjoy Jillian's workout, I bought my pinky dumbbells. Each weighs 4lbs. It's supposed to be 3lbs but the supplier don't have it. It's okay, I know I can do this. For 10 days, I will be doing the level 1, another 10 days for level 2 and finally 10 days for level 3.




Taking Care of My Skin

Someone recommended me to take collagen capsule once a day. It started when me and my hubby noticed her radiant skin. She told us where to buy it. Good thing it's near to our office. We went to Marina Arcade in Dau and look for Virgie. Most of business owners know her so we easily found her store. Apparently, she is selling a lot of US based products.


This collagen is best if you exercise and diet while taking it. That's awesome because we're doing them already. I'm looking forward to great result it will bring to my fair skin.

I Swear Cheating is Unintentional

Do you know the feeling that you're nearly achieving your goal and suddenly there's this unexpected thing that will happen which will result to not getting what you want? Argh!

I thought my Day 6 will just be the same. Juicing and fruits. My neighbor had a social event yesterday. I don't have clue what it is. They gave us a plate of what they cooked for the celebration. The plate has lumpia, menudo, fried chicken and chicken macaroni. Super yummy right? All my favorite food in one plate.

But what we can do about it. Me and my hubby started to eat what's on the plate and we just said to each other that it was our cheat day. Unintentional cheat day!

Hearty and Healthy Lunch

My lunch since day 1 are steamed carrots and baguio beans. It's my 3rd day and we're out of stock of carrots. I skipped carrots and decided to grab few baguio beans to steam. I include slices of apple and pear as well as my favorite fruit - banana.

I hope it will keep me full until 6pm. Fingers crossed.


Oh so Delicious! Breakfast

I don't really eat breakfast. But because I am juicing, I need to eat some to give me energy throughout the day. It's good that I still have lots of ripe mangoes in the fridge. Half cup of orange juice and ripe mangoes are perfect :)


Don't ask me why it's just half cup. Most of I juiced went to my husband. He needs it more. Haha! That's why I settled for ripe mangoes.

Orange Juice Recipe:

2 carrots
1 apple
2 inch of ginger

Indoor Workout

I believe that if you want to lose weight and stay in shape, you need to exercise. To speed up our losing weight journey, we decided to buy a treadmill. Oh wait! I mean 'our' is me and my husband are into juicing right now. We commit ourselves to juice fast for 30 days or more. And it's our 3rd day now. Yay!



Right now my husband is using this big guy and maybe I'll use it too from time to time. 

The Start of my Juicing Journey

It's not secret that I am overweight. This means I need to take charge of my health to achieve my purpose in life. Last year, I started my juicing and maybe I wasn't that so inspired to finish my 60-day juice fast, I went back to my normal life. Fastfood, preservatives and junk food...all crap.

I stumbled to Super Juice Me, a documentary about the group of people who undergo Juice Camp to cure their diseases for 28 day juice fast. That's a lot of time. It's really a challenge and they passed with flying colors.

So I dust off my juicing again and work on my juice + eating plan. Yes you heard that. Juice with eating. My plan is to have this 10 day juicing with eating + 10 days of juice fast (no eating of solid food) + 10 day of juicing with eating.

Green juice for lunch. I had the orange juice for breakfast.

It's been my second day of juicing and I feel great. I am looking forward to finish this journey and see massive result in my bod.
